Due to Southern Fresh Farms being an Agro-Tourism Park and having an education aspect to the Farm generating income through Agro-tourism, it was allowed to have a brewery onsite meeting the code requirements of Lee County while being an Agricultural zoned property. Traditionally, per the Lee County Code, breweries require industrial zoning, so this is a unique aspect of the farm. They are the only local farm to be approved to have a Brewery onsite.
The brewery prides itself in serving locally brewed craft ales in the setting of a small farm reminiscent of a Fort Myers from a bygone era. Their beer garden sits among rows of Southern Fresh Farm’s green produce and the sounds of an operating farm, livestock, and tractors. As a partnership with Southern Fresh Farms, they aim to grow fresh ingredients on-site to be used in the brewing of their small-batch beers. This fresh concept brings the notion of “farm-to-table” to a whole new level; “farm-to-pint”
Beer Garden includes:
Mangoes, bananas, and fresh guava are all grown at the farm
The farm allows the brewery to source its water by tapping into the farm’s aquifer to stay off the county water system
Currently, the Brewery is open:
Friday 5 - 9pm, Saturday 11am - 9pm. Sunday 11am - 4pm
The brewery hosts live local music artists nightly and hosts an array of events in conjunction with Southern Fresh Farms.
